I'm working on an ad for a local winery, but I ended up playing with this shot a bit too much...I ended up liking it more than I expected, what do you think?

I definitely like the color better, but both are nice shots.

I agree....I like the colour better. There are lots of well-matched warm tones.

The b/w is interesting: I like how the wine glasses look, but the chocolate doesn't seem to match the look.

The first is very unique, both are nice.

Thanks, LOL my fiancee said that the BW chocolate on the first one didn't do anything for her...she's more of a chocolate conoseur :) and after all I'm am trying to catch potential customer's eye...I must listen to the woman.

First one almost looks like Paint By Numbers :D

If the shots are for a wine shop, the first one (which is really cool) doesn't scream wine to me.

First one almost looks like Paint By Numbers :D

Which gives me an idea for processing...

Blend the image you posted first with it's full color counterpart in such a way that it looks as if someone IS coloring it in...

Might just give the idea that your client can help customers "fill in the blanks" of their wine collection!

Just spit balling...

I made a print of the second one, and I can see the significant difference the warmer tones make...I'm looking forward to bringing it in.
