My wife dropped her S30 today and there is now a dent in the case. The camera still takes photos and will download them but the menu button no longer works. She cannot now delete anything or use the other menu options as there is no menu visible.
I wonder if this camera can be repaired?

Probably not worth it, as it'll cost somewhere in the $100 range and you can get a good, higher MP-count model for $150 or so.

Sorry to hear it. My S30 died about a year ago. I loved that little camera. We're not sure what happened to it but it now has a rattle inside. I too was told that it would cost a minimum of $100 to repair and most likely more.
I ended up getting the A710-IS to replace it.

Thank you for your thoughts and advice. We will go for a new camera I think.
