flashes 430,550,580

can someone give me a suggestion what flash to buy.i have a 20D..those a lot of differences about 430ex 550ex 580ex?thanks........

I use the 430, it is a great flash, and for the price, as well as my needs at the time- it was the correct choice. The 580 is supurb, but they are sure proud of it, and the price reflects. Not sure if the 550 is still being made or not. All are fine flashes, with the 550 and 580 being a little more powerful, and having the ability of acting as Master to the 430, and others. The 430 won't act as Master to anything else, and thus, I am considering buying another flash to compliment it in this role. Just depends on what you want to do, for the money.

so i go to 550 or 580.so in the feauture i dont have a problem about master..do u think is a good decition?

Tim summed it up pretty well in the first link. Personally, I'd recommend the 580, if I could afford it, but like mentioned, it just depends on so many options. The thing about having a Master is that you will still need a slave, so if you get the 430 now, and upgrade later, then you already have the slave. Either way, you would need two flashes. Just depends on what you wanted to start with. You may never want a Master. Dunno.
