S60 just came.

My S60 just arrived. I'm really excited to use it.

The battery is charging and I'll be taking it downtown to get some usage out of it as soon as it's done. The packaging was nothing unusual, just like every other Canon I've owned. The camera is a bit different looking, but it is a major upgrade and I've never had one like this (Slide door) but I hope that I'll be happy with my purchase.

Well I'm off to see if I can't borrow someone's CF card. I left all my big ones at home and this 32 won't last very long.

One reason I bought an A80 :D

It came with some nice cheapo AA's so I could have play while the rechargables were chargeing.
My A40 came with a set as well. You get about 20 or so pics, and enough time to look through the menus and have a play before they go flat 8)

trust me the battery for the s50 and s60 is much much much better than traditional batteries

i have the s50 and my girlfriends sister has the a70 and it lasts a whole 20 pictures like the above person said

it is a battery hog, you will love your s60, although i am ready for a digital slr so i can play more with everything
