CANON EF-S 10-22 mm

Hi all,

I've just received my 10D :D and now I'm looking for a WA.

I read about the new Canon lenses 10-22 mm and 17-85mm, my question is ...

This lenses only can be used with 20D and Rebel ??!!! :cry:

Thats right, All EF-S lenses can ONLY be used with the 20D and the 300D (Rebel). Kind of a bummer, that 10-22 would be great on a 35mm body.

If you are looking for a WA, go for the 17-40 4L. I hear it is real good. I ordered one monday and it is sitting in front of my house right now waiting for me to go and get it (UPS just delivered). :D

That is correct. The only cameras that support the EF-S lenses at this time are the Digital Rebel (300D) and the 20D.

Next week I’m going to Panama, I will look for the Canon 17-40 then.

What about Sigma 12-24 and 15-30 ?

Anybody know where to buy lenses in Panama ? , I heard that you can get good prices there

Having looked at the Canon 17-40 and the Sigma 12-24, I chose the Sigma. It works very well as an outdoor landscape/architecture lens.

I just saw the UK price of this lens: £650!! Is that right?
