why is Photoshop abbreviated PP?

I've only seen the abbreviation on this forum. I'm SURE I will hit my head with a big "DUH" after I hear, but I just can't figure it out.

Photoshop elements as PSE.
Adobe Camera RAW as ACR.
I've no idea what CS3 stands for though.
