Thanks Ira, there were 5 of them sitting on limbs of this eucalyptus tree, and I was just off to the side below them with the 300mm and 1.4x. steve

Nice shots again Steve. I've seen lots of these guys flying over, but never close enough for a shot. :)

Thanks Mitch, was shocked to see them sitting high in the trees observing all the duck action below. They did come down to the water, but stayed far away...steve

I didn't see them eating anything, only preening away and enjoying the SUNSHINE, remember what that is? Ha, Ha...sorry Mitch, I just don't see how you can live through the winters up there....steve
