Hi All,
I was just given a perfectly working 220EX flash to use with my 20D as an alternative to the on-board flash...I was wondering if any one has ANY ideas as how to "bounce or diffuse this flash as the head does not tilt swivel or rotate

Or are there any 3rd party flashes that are as small that do have a bounce/swovel head ??

Thanks...in advance

you could get an off shoe cord

IMO, the 220 EX is only useful with a flash cord. Otherwise about it's only advantage above the onboard flash is that it will clear the larger lenses / hoods and it has a bit more range.

you can take white card stock and bend it into a bouncer.

i've experimented with those silver anti static bags you get hard drives in for diffusers and bounce/reflector surfaces.

just have to be creative.

Some flash brackets like the Stroboframe Pro-RL will let you rotate the flash mount base allowing you to angle the light up and down quite a bit. That would def help with a flash that doesnt have it built in.
