Supply in Singapore

Finally, got my D60 on my way to Sulawesi for a diving holiday. Checked out several stores in Singapore and found 3 that had the D60 in stock. Shouldn't be that hard to get one over there. Check various stores in the Peninsula Shopping complex. I was lucky at Ishida Marketing, ask for David (3384656)

Hey just wondering how much did you pay for the D60, I am interested in getting one as well. And by the way, I have seen shops refering to the D60 "Body Only" and the D60 Kit is there a difference??

Paid just under US$ 2300. Thought is was reasonable as the lowest price in the US is about US$ 2195 and now I had no shipping costs. Had 1 day in Singapore to test the camera. Only disadvantage: warranty is for Singapore only. Not a big deal for me as I live closer to Singapore than the US. Will write Canon though to make this warranty international.
Bought 2x256 flas memory as well and a spare battery. The salesman gave me a flash card reader. Get one! A lot easier to transfer files than through the cable.
As fas as I know the offer for body only will be excluding the battery charger and battery.

I believe in Singapore you can only get the D60 Body Kit which comprises the camera body, battery, battery charger, DC coupler, wide strap, cables, manuals and software. Should be able to get this for around US$2,200 if there is any more stock available, that is.
