Crappy gray overcast day produced some ok result with flash with better beamer attached.

A few shots of the many taken, can't wait for the sun to come out and hopefully capture these beauties again.

All 3 photos were taken with my 30D and 100-400 lens with flash and better beamer attached.

I am in Burlington Ontario, and thanks for the comments. The Pine Grosbeaks where photographed in Burlington, and there was a flock of 100 plus Bohemians that were a delight to shoot in Guelph, Ontario.

Very nice, Mike. The Flash and Beamer can sure help on those dark and overcast days (which seem like everyday around here right now). Eyes look good. Color looks good. Nice job.

I am envious! I have no waxwing captures ...One day! Pretty nice images for an overcast day. Well done.

Nice ones Mike. Looks like the lighting was very good.
