Probably one of the most heavily-photographed buildings in NYC. Trying a different take on it. Does it work?

Huh, phone with your camera. Do you mean fun?

Great shot. I love New York, must go back one day.

A very good example of how to take a unique photograph of something that has been photographed literally millions of times.

Welcome to the forum! (Or at least to posting on the forum :D )

Great timing also. I like how the top of the antenna shadow hits the top of that building. Maybe you could have done it with the top of the shadow just below the top of the building.

Creativity 10

Execution 9.9

Great idea and composition. I never realized how big of a shadow it cast.

Keep it up.

Thanks for the kind words.

I'll have to drag my camera into work with me and try again one day. I took some vertical shots as well but wasn't thrilled with them. No tripod either so I had my camera perched on a makeshift pile of books 12" from the window ledge and a 700' drop!
