Hi all,
I've been lurking here for some time and I thought it's time to say HI to everyone. I've learned more here in the past 2 months than I ever could just by reading (although I've done a substantial amount of that!). I've got a 300D and the 50mm f1.8 and the 70-200 F4 and are just loving them. It's only been recently that my pictures have gotten good, a big learning curve, both the camera and the post-processing. In any event, thanks for all the info I've gotten from ya and I hope to put some pics up soon.

Jeff, take about a half dozen of your best images and store them off someplace, and don't touch them for six months, at least. Make sure they are your best stuff.
After six months, then open them up and look at them again. Compared to where you will be then, they won't look so good, because your standards will have changed. You will expect more then.

Thanks Bob,
I've actually been clearing out my desk and looked at my "Good" pics I thought I took a couple of months ago. Boy, what a shock! I've progessed pretty far since then.
I can't wait to see where I'll be in 6 months! :D
Thanks for the welcome everyone!
Jeff
ps I will follow that advice!

welcome on board!
Barry was absolutely right about "L" bug here, make sure your pocket is deep enough to be sucked empty by Canon and their "L" glasses, and no, you won't get any help from us to stop you, we only encourage
