Yes! I told that it would arrive in mid-October ... and I just got the call that mine is waiting for me.
Now all that is missing is the grip, an extra battery and the 580EX.
Time to edit my sig and change my username to Patrick 20D! :P
TGIF!

UPDATE: I have it at home! Batteries charging ...
I also bought the grip and an extra battery. Have to wait a few days for the 580EX, and then I am golden!
I can't wait to get outside and take some pictures!

I agree! I had to check the calendar to make sure that it wasn't April 1st ...
However, now comes the downside to buying a new Canon camera: figuring out HOW to "install" the neck strap. :x
I really should have paid more attention in my high school basket weaving course!

Patrick 20D,
Is the grip plastic? Is it worth it (US$200)?
Comments?

So true. I recently got the 100-400 lens but did bother doing the strap...I just hate doing that
Congrats on your new cam.

The grip is plastic, and gives (IMHO) about the same feel as the grip on my 10D.
I would say that it is worth the coin due to having a bigger feeling body, more battery life and the possibility to use AA batteries if you are somewhere without the possibility to charge the Canon bricks.

Thanks. :)
I am going to use the hand strap for a change - bought it a year ago and never used it with the 10D because I could not figure out how in the heck can you have both the hand strap and the neck strap on at the same time ... although someone here said it WAS possible.
To be honest, with the 70-200 attached, using the OE neck strap becomes a "pain in the neck" after awhile.

LOL. I was thinking about doing that ... :)
