Iv'e been reading alot lately about the new 5D II. Is this a rumor or is there something in writing about the changes and or upgrades with this new model? Does anyone know for sure what the new changes will be?

Take a look at the Rumors Forum, then the Camera Rumors and Predictions sub-Forum. There is enough speculation going on to choke a mule. Some of it might even be from reputable sources, some less than. As is, it is a trove of entertainment - people being very vocal about what they want (hope, pray) that the camera will be.

Drop by for a read!

Did you mean the rumor, or the rumor. Folks LOVE to dream and then write about it. Nobody knows for sure, right now, what it will have. Have you considered get a new 5D at a phenomenal price right now?

Stu, you are an incurable cynic.
You maybe need to quit taking pictures of Cleveland.
Who was the Mayor (Polish guy) when the river caught on fire?

Happy New Year!!

No one know anything for sure, except that it will be replaced.
I've been testing the new 5D MII for Canon for a while, but if I tell you any info, then I'd have to kill you.

I'm going to have to stop believing everything I read. I was starting to believe that a new camera was about to hit the market I guess the saying is true "Believe it when you see it". But it sure is fun to imagine. That must be how new upgrades are done. The engineers do what we are doing, but they have the position to put it into a working camera.

Yeah - guilty as charged.... that's me all over :D. You're referring to Dennis Kucinich, the youngest mayor the city ever had (1977) , and also one of our presidential candidates right now; doesn't have a snowballls chance, but sure uses the platform to speak his mind on important issues.

Actually the river caught fire back in 1969 I believe which I believe was during Perk's administration.

YOU TOO???

Ok, Ok, you twist my arm... Here are the new features on the 5D Mark II.

3 inch LCD with TV tuner built in so you can watch TV if you get too bored chimping. With the WiFi grip, you can also get digital Satellite TV.

Live View and Dead View, where you can review shots you accidentally deleted. But it'll be all faded and filled with "ghosting."

More water seals, sea lions, and various other marine mammals thrown in for good measures.

15MP sensor with RAW, sRAW, and cooked for overexposed "highlight" shots.

Mode dial to feature (just like 40D) C1, C2, C3, and CS3, so you can post process on the big 3 inch LCD. Yup, look ma, no computer. Forget all that D-lighting stuff that nikon and sony has. It's full on PS CS3 baby. It's a bit slow though...

And lastly, did I mention cup holder!!!
