Glare on glasses?

What can a photographer due about this problem?

I think a polarizer would help. Asking the person to tilt their head a little. Changing everyone's position relative to the sun... Of course, it is kind of hard to detect in a viewfinder.

I am unfortunately a very poor student so I can't afford more gear at the moment. I would love to have a CP filter, but I think another flash card is first on the list. Now that I am getting paid for my pictures, I am slowly working off the extra money that I had to put into my rebel and accessories.

As you said I didn't notice the glasses in the original picture, I could always photoshop them I guess.
