I know, I can't find the grip anywhere in the US, and I'm so used to shooting with the grip with the DRebel. It could be worse though, our friends in Finland had the grip before the camera, that is just torture!

want a grip for my 20D and can't seem to find any one who has one? I got the camera from B&H on Friday and the grip is on back order. I also see they have lowered the price on the web sight to $169.00 for the grip and the price they charged me when I pre-ordered was $199.00 I am wondering if it has not shipped will they lower the price and charge me the $169.00 so I can save a bit. If any one knows were I can get a grip here in the states please let me know I want one fast!
Thanks,

Angelo, I'm working on finding one for myself, so when I'm out on rounds at an undisclosed location, I'll keep an eye open for for you as well.

I called B&H the adjusted the price for me so I am now paying $169.00 for the grip instead of the $199.00 Pre order price. They told me this morning it is heavily back ordered more so then the camera it self as they shipped out the first lot of cameras. This is how I got mine. HEY for me. Now I need he grip.

Does it feel more sturdy than the Rebel Grip?

Sorry; never used a 300D (DRebel), grip or not, but I would bet money that a 20D with a grip feels more sturdy than a Rebel with a grip. :)

BG-E2 actually (no 'D'). :P
The 20D certainly feels more "controlled" in the hand when the grip is attached. I suppose that's one of the points of a "grip"! :)
I know that some 20D owners are finding it a little small in the hand for a decent hold; the grip resolves this completely! :D

As of yesterday PArk Cameras in the UK still had grips available at £150.
No 20d cameras though. I am beginning to think some of this marketing was a bit clever by Canon or hype by all of us. I went to Birmingham on Saturday and Jacobs had 4 20d's. Two body only and two with lens packages. Quite amazing but I bet they have gone by now!!
