Hi guys,
I am sure this is a topic that's been covered before. But what is the best way to clean the CMOS if you find dots on your pictures?
Recently, I tried it myself for the first time, not knowing if I did it correctly. Previous cleaning was done by Canon.
I basically just locked up the mirror and used the brushless blower with care. It worked, but I don't know if the force of the big air blowerwould cause any damage on the CMOS sensor at all.
Thanks in advance!!

I seem to change lenses frequently so I end up with dust bunnies fairly often too. I set my camera to clean sensor and then hold the camera with the front towards the ground and then use something like a rocket blower. This works most of the time.

Failing that I use Pec Pads and their cleaning fluid. I have done this many times to my 10D and a couple of times on my MKII and it is easy and really effective.

It is very unlikely that a blower will damage the sensor. That is the safest method of cleaning the CMOS so if it worked for you be happy.
