Deleted Photos

Hi Fellow forum members.

Not sure where to post this message hopefully I have the right spot.

I am hoping that you can help me. I have done something very silly. I deleted 16 days worth of photos from a long service trip we did 3 weeks ago by car leaving Perth Australia headed to Tasmania from my laptop (permanently deleted) in error (photos are also deleted on my camera). I remember hearing or reading somewhere that you can retrieve deleted photos from your camera, can you please advise me if this is correct or not and if so how I go about it. I have a canon 400D EOS.

all is not lost.

you can use the sandisk file recovery software, or get a program called pc file inspector to do your recovery.

there have been a few recent threads on lost files.. look em up.
