Was a family friends 18th birthday and they had a family X1 vs friends X1

Looks like a fun day.

#1 - Could do with a higher shutter speed to freeze the action, and a much tighter crop would be nice too.

#2 - 9 times out of 10, a photo of someone's back isn't very interesting.

#3 - Similar to #1; wants to be shot tighter.

#4 - The woman in the foreground is a tad distracting, and perhaps crop out the football(??) in the left of the frame.

#5 - Would've liked to see more of his face.

if they do a show called strictly come photographer, you would be on the panel

Cricket seems a hard sport to shoot (never done it before) guess you need a big L Lens to get some good shots.

They all look out of focus to me, i shoot a lot of cricket and use a 300F2.8L +2x and that is sometimes only just long enough
even this shot i had to crop

if you are going to shoot a lot of cricket the 300F4L + 1.4x is a good option thats what i used to use if not try getting shots of fielders running for balls or catching or shots that take in the match with a nice sky or even people watching the match
