10D iso 400 noise

Take tonight at local fun fair on eos 10D iso 400 sigma 28~200 550ex flash.There was lots of smoke in the air as well due to the smoke machines on the rides.I wont be parting with my 10D in a hurry. :D http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0803/tommy6206/Misc/fair_filtered.jpg

The 10D, and 300D are virtually noise free up to ISO800 when properly exposed. Even ISO1600 is very good, when properly exposed.
That is why the slight improvement in ISO quality on the 20D doesn't excite me as much as the other features.
