This is the second time I have heard this, first time was for one in Europe.

The Dig. Rebel will have a black body starting with shipments at the end of Sept./04.

You will also be able to buy a D-Rebel kit with either the new EF-S 18-55mm USM or the new EF-S 17-85mm IS USM lenses. The prices in CAD will be around $1350.00 CAD for the former and about $1899.00 CAD for the latter. The price may change a bit when the retailers actually have these units.

What is that is US $$??

CAD stands for Canadian Dollars, which is worth about .75 US. therefore you will see a difference of 25% to 30% in the two currencies. I'm not sure the price of the Digital Rebel body only in the US right now, but it is selling for $995.00 CAD in Canada.
