I am posting this here because the other post I have on my 20D problems is getting long :?

According to Bob Atkins the Canon consumer camers should auto focus within the distance of the DOF from the focus point and pro models 1/3 that distance. I am not sure which the 20D bodybody falls in but it seems to meet the pro specs.

This surely isn't a problem with my camera. There is a slight front focus with the 24-85 and the 100-400 but well within specs and the 100mm macro and 50mm seem spot on.

See test for 4 lens here.

So Jerry, are you thinking the problem is the need to handle post-processing differently? Have you tried shooting with all the default settings in the camera? :? :?

Is it time for your semi-annual eye exam? (note eye chart on my avatar for do-it-yourself eye test.......can you read the third line from the bottom?)

Well that's good news! Though I wouldn't be happy about the front focus of the 100-400. Which is one reason why I've never tested mine, even though I should.

That's easy, it's F P. I can even make out the next line, it reads Y O Z. Or something like that. What's with the lines down at the bottom? :-)
