I am really not happy with these shots, but i thought id share. Its really really hard to take pictures of my car in the bright sun light, It over exposes my car. But i tried to corrected it some in PS.

CC appreciated.
My opinion:
First Shot - I wanted a moody sky, so i adjusted the exposure and contrast of the sky. The car was still a little bright for me, so i added a layer mask to add a little more darkness to the car, i cloned out alot of stuff that was in the way, like a sign poll and some tree branches. I really wish those tree's werent there. lol
Second Shot - i think the car is just a little to far, and my focal point wasn't the car, so it appears a little soft.
I will definitly try again, i am still learning! lol

Nice car - good shots and I think you have your C&C spot on there with your own opinions!
I always try and shoot on an overcast day when the light is 'flatter' - helps eliminate a lot of problems.

Going by the EXIF, #1 was pretty close, but #2 was about 1 stop over.
Try this: First set the f-stop & shutter speed you need. Then adjust the ISO. Need an exposure crutch? (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=89123)

1. Was the shot i had problems with it being to bright.
2. was in the shade, so i didn't have that problem.
I shoot in Aperture priority, and i some times bump the Exposure Bias up or down some. The first shot was -1.0 Exposure Bias. Second shot was set to 0
I will take a look at that info. Thanks!

Pic#1: The 2 tree behind the tree are killing the nice background.
Pic#2: i think you have already stated its weakness ;)

Yea, Dam that tree. lol I cloned out a decent amount of the branches, so it wasn't near the car.
I have some other shots near there, that might have turned out a little better. I will have to take a look at the set when i get home. I also done like the strong shadows on the front of the car, i might try a layer mask with the brightness or lower the contrast a little.
