Found this guy waiting his turn at my suet feeder. I have never seen one this late in the season in my area before.Hope you enjoy.

i love this one,saw a few of our uk ones today (goldcrest) but could not get any shots.
this little guy is looking good,a nice determined look on his face.

Hey Chris,
Good to see you back. The Ruby-crowned looks good. I've been seeing them around very late in the season and also have a Ruby-crowned who has taken up residence in our backyard. Ours too loves the suet as well as the peanut feeder where he shares time with the Nuthatches and Wrens.

I need to start looking more closely at birds in my yard and at the feeders. I just see that pale yellow and think finch, when it could actually be one of these guys! Nice shot there!

Nice catch, we have the Golden crowned Kinglets all winter, but havent seen any at a feeder yet, well done.

Very nice shot of this little cutie, very pretty in the snow... and yes, they love peanut butter suet at my feeders as well!:)

I call them little balls of of stored energy...once they start moving (which is most of the time for me) is hard to keep the focus locked on them.

Nice image here of a bird I have never seen in the Winter. The crown is showing a bit and that adds to the image as well.
