Some 317 / 319 Series EMU (Electric Multiple Units)

For our non-UK viewers, these are 8 and 4 car Electric units that do intensive commuter work on London's only true Cross-London rail service.

Is this at cricklewood? I'd LOVE to photograph the trains there. The Midland Mainline trains are at cricklewood too!

First photo is awesome.

Yes it is Cricklewood. No Midland Mainline (now East Midlands Trains) stable there at night. Just First Capital Connect and the early evening visit of the "Trash Train"

Ah, the Class 222 and Class 43 only are there during the day then? I'd still love to snap it. I pass it everyday and theres been times when the balance of sky and the lights was perfect.

yep, they just stable from about 9am to 5pm. 3 or 4 units, for a quick clean and rest up before heading back to StP and heading back up North.

The whole depot now, is run by FCC since they pulled out of Selhurst just over a year ago!

They look nice huh, but you don't wanna be in them at Rush hour. Unless you like being a sardine...
