Hi! My mom and I are getting ready for our first bridal fair in the town where she's moved her business. We attended several fairs when she first started her business but haven't seen what people are doing these days.
We're planning to have five or six pressboard albums for people to flip through, two laptops with dvd shows running, two or three large prints on easels and perhaps some sample thank you cards or something similar.
Does anybody have suggestions on other neat things to help us stand out? ...little touches.
Also, we plan to have a raffle box and give away maybe 50 percent off one base wedding package, several engagement shoots with an 8x10 and I'm not sure what else. What is common for raffle items?
Thank you!

How about a digital frame and engagement shoots? Make sure you have a lot of freebies to give away, like personalized pens/candy/etc... Also make sure that you print out some contracts. What I do is if they sign us up at the bridal faire, then I give them a 20% discount. 10% discount if they sign up within the month and 5% off if they sign up with a brochure from the faire.

That's a good idea about bringing the contracts. And the digital frame! Thank you!

A lot of wedding photographers set theirs up to look like a small living room with lighting, seating, an area rug, and a coffee table for albums.

That's a great idea, too!
