So ... I have a pile of negatives, and want to make a TOP quality album. I've read all about Pictobok, Graphistudio, etc... but the question is how do I get them to work with me if I'm not a professional photographer?
Any insight?

They will, I don't know of the quality, I know nothing of them other than some wedding photogs have talked about them offering their services to brides. Really sucks for us trying to make a living.

What do these guys want to be considered a "Pro" . If you have a client that is paying and they want a product, then you are a pro. You might not be the best in town, but then again only one person is.

Does Zookbinders let you design your own albums?

Zookbinders (for their ZookBook flush-mount album) will provide 3 levels of service.
1. bind only (you design and print and send them the prints)
2. print and bind (you design and transmit the design layout files to them)
3. design,print and bind...
We're a design studio and have done 1 & 2 above and been very pleased.
