Question for you.
Every once in a while (like tonight) Elements 5.0 won't let me see my brushes. No cursur, no circle, no anything. Usually it is fine, but tonight, nothing. I've shut down and re-booted and still nothing. Like trying to paint without being able to see your hands.
What is going on? Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

make sure you don't have caps lock or num lock on.

Couldn't sleep so played with it briefly this morning before getting ready for work. I now have a small crosshair/plus sign type thing, and it moves like a custom cursor, but say, if I select a tool or brush... where it used to give an adjustable circle, it won't change from the plus sign thing. Like this, I have no idea how large my tool is.
Num Lock and Caps Lock, huh?
I'll check that as soon as I get home. Thanks.

Display & Cursors
Make sure they are not set to precise
I am not sure if this is the same thing as caps lock, but it is how I fixed the problem.

It was indeed a Cap Lock thing. Thanks all.
