Well, I sometimes have this problem when I upload changed JPEG pictures to the CF-card via a Card-reader. But try the usual step first; like formatting the CF-card (menu) Did you try with another CF-card?

I think i started having this problem when i edited my pictures from my PC then trying to upload it back to my CF card....right now, even pictures just taken and not yet edited would result to incompatible jpeg format...i tried formatting my CF card through my camera and changing CF cards but still have the problem when viewing pictures..any other suggestions?
thanks!!

Are you getting the error AS you try to upload the file or while trying to view on the camera.

If it uploading, if I recall correctly, you can work around this by uploading files to the card via a card reader (or perhaps another program would upload to the camera ok.)

If the trouble is on the camera, I don't know what's up except perhaps the image manipulation applied to the image has done something to the exif data...
