Although, this is not a rumor it is a quote. I'll post it here

Wifes Chinese, she said it says this about the 5D

We will promote the powerful product. The intermediate camera "EOS 5D" will be able to have enhanced durable and the picture element successor type goes on the market. In we will promote a better product with the equal in value position in.

Basically they will release a succesor to the 5D with more MP's, enhanced durability at the same pricepoint

Nothing new there then.

Don't be sorry. Everything else has been rumor mill. This is a Canon executive.

The 5D has dropped in price at B&H since Christmas - not a guarantee of a replacement, but it is encouraging. . .

Have Fun,

Is your wife babelfish? The phrasing looks nonsensical.

Hey, I'm Chinese, too, and typed characters make no sense to me still. But then again, handwritten letters aren't much better. :)

Quotes are great, now let's see the new cam!

▽將採取何種數碼單反產品戰略?

  我們將推出強有力的產品。中級相機“EOS 5D”將會有提高了耐用性和像素的後繼機型上市。在同等價位上我們將推出更好的產品。

Here is a better translation:

(This is an interview with Canon CEO)

What will be the DSLR strategy?

We will introduce powerful products. The successor to the midrange "EOS 5D" will be introduced (no time frame was given but the article itself implied it is 2008 ) with better durability and higher MP count. For the same price, we will introduce better product.

I wonder if the better durability includes semi weather sealing. At least I have a few more paydays before it hits stores :D

Thats a much more readable translation. Not much information though. Looks like more guesswork until the big day.

My wife transalated it word for word to English, you really can't translate chinese to english word for word, it won't make a lot of sense, so I summed it up and added the link so people could use there own translation. Anyways, there it is and that was what I found
Cheers guys and gals

There's a perfectly good explanation. His wife works for Babblefish and does the translations for them. :D

The original is in Japanese. That link points to the Chinese page of Kyodo News (which I believe is a Japanese news agency) web site.

I was referring to puckering and the body part it affected. For some reason, lips weren't what popped into my head first :p

ahh I see - OK it because lips are closely connected to the opposite end - although many don't realise it

I first learned this during the birth of my first daughter when the midwife instructed mum to keep her mouth relaxed as it tightens involuntarily during pushing and it was that time to not push, and apparently relaxing your mouth helps relaxing down at the other end.

I had a Nurse friend explain that this also applies for constipation sufferers who tend to clench their lips when straining, when they should do the opposite as it helps to relax the sphincter at the other end

Hence my assuption that 'pelvic floor' exercises for men , [who in my imagination don't have the natural ability to divorce the tension elsewhere in their body from the tension in their mouths/lips], would show on the face when being performed, especially if to extremes as is te case with most men's exercises;)
