I usually have fair to good results with my S30 and photostitching. Over the last couple of days, I am getting this white blotch near the merge lines. And now on the latest shot, I there is exposure differences as well. Any ideas?

Have you tried manually adjusting the overlapping sections in photostich? As for the exposure differences, I don't know how to help there, I get the same results. What really is annoying is when all the pictures but one in the series are in focus and the one is completely blurry and in the center of the panorama = (

I am not sure what has happened but I have found that in deciding to pan from left to right or from right to left it is better to start with the side that is brighter to avoid over exposure.
Also check the settings in the photostich program, there are some options which may make a difference.

Look I cannot be sure as to whether stadium lights etc were at play here.
If you can find someone with a G2.. take a few twin panorama's and see if it is your camera.
My G2 has never even "hinted" at this kind of a problem.

My only guess is that the camera wasn't set on stitch, and therefore changed the exposure (double check the actual pictures to see if the shutter and exposure are the same), or, there wasn't enough overlap. It certainly looks like a base hit by Dan Wilson (a before and after effect), but there seems to be a small part of the field and stadium missing. Is there plenty of overlap in the original pictures. Neat picture if you can get it stitched together.
