I do not intend to harass people by sending bulk mail.

But people have signed up for my photo club and I need to send out quite a lot of emails. Because of privacy issues I don't want them to see each other's emails.

If I just send it through outlook, then there's gonna be a long email list on top of every email. Is there an option to turn it off?

I'm using outlook btw. :?

You want to put your email in the "to" and then everyone else in the "Bcc:"

This will send it to everyone but they can only reply to you.

Wait. I am so confused!

Why should I put my email in the To field?

Just do it! Trust us. With your e-mail in the "To" space, it'll only be yor
e-mail address that anyone will see. All the others in the Bcc spot will be hidden.

Not only that but you have to have someones in the To: field, it might as well be yours.

But note that many spam kill filters see BCC field use combined with same to and from email as spam.

The best way is to run through a loop and put one email address in the to field and send one email per recipient.

I experimented with it for a bit, using my 2-3 web addresses I have.

I just left the To field empty and put all of them in BCC.

For the recipient it says: "undsclosed@ recipient" or something similar. :?

I know some people got it, cause I asked for a reply.

"undisclosed@ recipient"

is also often used by spam filters to kill mails.

Iv used www.bravenet.com in the past with great success to send bulk emails.

Its a bit more limited than say outlook, but you can include HTML in the messages, and it will only include a single recpiants email in the message, as well as the senders.

Its a sort of a free webmaster services site, with extras that you have to pay for.
Its been a long long time since I last used it so I can't remember how I set up the bulk email, but I seem to remember it being quite easy once I had registered.

I have not tried it with e-mail, but MicroSoft Word can e-mail merge data.

If I am correct, it would take your list of x people and send off x emails, one for each person. Plus, due to the merge process, each email could be personallized to the addressee!

If you have Word, check under the help section.
