I just bought some £5 macro tubes from ebay (no electrical contacts).
Best shot in the hour or so after getting home from work was this caterpillar which had been hiding in a houseplant.

f/16 (pressed DOF-preview then detached lens)
On board flash, using some shiny plastic as a hand held reflector
Things I've learnt are:
macro is lots of fun
trying to manually focus through a lens locked at f/16 is hard
I know the focus is slightly off, any other C&C welcome
