I love my 20D but:

It is under exposing in low light. It is worst when using the flash. With flash and EC of 0 the almost the entire right half of the histogram is blank. I have to us an EC of 1 1/3 to fill the histogram. Is this normal?

Everything is perfect outside in daylight.

I doubt very much that you are alone. Most D30, D60 and 10D users have been adding a little FEC for years. I have my 20D set to +2/3 stops of FEC.

On grey or overcast days.. I have allways needed to add 1/3 - 1 full stop of EC for the best exposure... with any camera.

I had a DREBEL that happened the underexposure problem when shooting indoor with flash (550ex). I upgraded it for a 10d and the problem continued.
I shoot weddings and I ordered the new 20d thinking about Ettl-II, but when I read this topic... I'm confused again.
Can anyone that already has the new 20d and shoots weddings post some samples and opinions about the camera?

Many (me included) have arrived at the conclusion that ETTL - and, it seems, ETTL2 - exercise considerable caution when it comes to avoiding blowing out highlights, hence a persistent underexposure in flash shots.
