Sandisk Ultra II vs. Extreme

I've looked around the net and can't seem to find an answer so I'll ask here...
For my 20D, or in general, what's the difference between the Sandisk Ultra II and Extreme? I understand that there's a dramatice tempeture range with the Extreme, but is that all you get for $100 more (in the 1GB cards)?

Is the price difference really $100? I bought a 512 MB Sandisk Extreme in the beginning of June. It was only $10 or so more expensive than the 512 MB Sandisk Ultra II (which wasn't in stock at the store).

The Sandisk Ultra II is now significantly less expensive then the Extreme. I just bought 2 Sandisk Ultra II's 2GB's for $169 each. The Sandisk Extreme 2G are $369 each. That is $200 more per card. If you look at the above database you will see that the performance difference in a 1D Mark II is a whole .001mb/s .

I really don't think it's worth going for the extreme for the 20D, unless money is no object of course because they are nearly double the price now. I recently did some testing of the Ultra II vs and older Sandisk in the 20D, and the difference was not really that noticable. Like Scott said, Rob Galbraith tested the Ultra II vs the Extreme in the Mark II, and the difference was barely measureable.
