Neighbors Pissed Off Crazy Cat.

This cat was nice once, years ago, but has since became really nasty. I think the cat thought my dog (Jack Russell) and myself were ganging up on her. If you like them click on the link above the photos and check them out large size.

Nice capture... I don't think I've ever seen as nasty a look as that, on any cat.... Look at those ears pinned back, you he's/she's ticked and oh, those two fangs too... lol

Yeah i didn't think of making them B&W until later in the day. Once I looked at them in B&W and working with the contrast the cat looked absolutely evil.

Nah I got the JacK Russell, so any time the cat pisses me off I will release my dog on the cat. My dog is actually nice and just wants to play with the cat, but they don't know that.

Yeah you are probably right. But my dog does have a mean hunting stance. Pretty good point. Its funny she actually will lock on like that and wait for me to tell her she can go. There is hunter in her, she is just too nice.

Me? I'm silly and would have tried to pet the cat anyway because I've never met a mean animal. I'd probably be either carrying her around at this point or typing with one hand. ; )

Well come in contact with an alligator? They are mean through and through. When I was picking one up, after we duct taped it all up to move it, it was making the most go awful noise. That things only plan was how it was going to kill me. Oh, had to move the gator for work. So yes there are mean animals. lol

It's a frightened animal showing typical warning behavior. I am at a loss as to how that translates into a hatred for the entire species.

Well the cat was strictly a house cat then the neighbor would put it out on a leash. The cat would get off the leash and go off. And now he just lets it off. So its just like us humans. We are kids and sheltered and everything is great. Then we go out into the real world and get all messed up.

That's not going to turn a formerly friendly cat into a cat that is distrustful and aggressive towards humans. That sort of transformation generally requires some sort of mistreatment.

I don't know the whole story of your neighbor and his cat but many kittens start out biting toes, fingers, hands etc. in play. Some people try to stop this behavior by hitting the cat but that just provokes cats and makes them more prone to aggression. So a playful biting kitten is easily turned into an aggressive biting cat.

He's had the cat for 5 year and it just started it this last summer. He's a chill guy and wouldn't hit the cat. The cat loves him. So maybe when he puts it out one of my other neighbors mistreats it. Also the cat has always be aggressive towards other cats.

He said the cat bounces off the walls now if he doesn't let it out. Its had the taste of freedom, and you know howthat goes

That's the first time that I have ever seen a house cat look scary! I had a friend who had a cat that was crazy mean; but no other cat's would crap on his lawn either. Unfortunately he no longer has the cat (had kids).

Thanks for the compliments everyone. It just shows that good photos happen when you least expect it. I was just putting my dog out to go.
