was at the rumble in Ft. wayne. want to hit chili bowl but i think work is going to keep me.

Yea that sucks about work....I had to do some crative shifts to get the week off but its gonna be worth it....I would love to go to the rumble maybe next year!!...I post some photos as soon as I get them!! I hope that 580 is gonna work with all the fumes around

I just got 12th row reserved tickets dumped in my lap. Far left of the front straight, I should have a great view of them coming into turn 3 and then spinning out of control into #4. I just hope I'm high enough to see over the fence. I hope I Get some good shots to send to the guy who's family emergency prevented him from going. Think the sigma 70-200 is up to the task of indoor racing? Ive herd its not to bright in there.

I think so. I dont have 2.8 glass I just have the canon 75-300 4-5.6 and Ill be in the infield....I hope to get me 2.8 glass this year befor the season gets too far in...I was lookin at that sigma lens. how dose it work for you?

As far as motorsports, the only thing I have shot is last years truck and Busch race at the Kansas speedway. I has maybe an 80% keeper rate with no obstructions, through the fence that dropped to maybe 50%. Ive shot a couple air shows and it performed perfectly even with a 1.4x.
