I want to restore a picture from My database.zbd

Hello,

I delete my photos from the camera and from the hard drive!
When I open ZoomBrowserEX I can see all the photos on the browser but I cannot open a specific one!
Can I restore the photos from MyDatabase.zbd?

Have you checked your recycle bin? If they are still in there, you can restore them. Otherwise, if you have completely deleted them from your camera and your hard drive, they are lost.

What you are seeing in Zoombrowser is the thumbnail, not the image itself. The database does not store the images; it tells ZB where to go to access them. But if they're gone, there's nothing to access. Refreshing the "image library" in ZB will remove the thumbnails and clean up the database.

The silver lining is that you now have an incentive to buy a CD burner so that you can back up your images to CD... :)

I hope this might even vaguely help. For the future, that is. If it's gone from both your CF and harddisk, then I am afraid it's really gone for good.
