Anyone know how to check how many shutter actuations there are on a D30?

Been through this - there's rumoured to be some super-secret program that Canon has in their repair centers, but noone's ever managed to convince me it's for real. The best you can do is hope it wasn't configured to reset numbering for each new card, then the folder + frame count will approximate the number of shutter actuations.
