I just shot several rolls of film with my dad's old Canon AE-1 Program. Is there any way I could get these onto some sort of data disc or flash drive by going to Walgreens?

Usually they'll put them onto a CD at 1536x1024 or so resolution when they process them. You might be able to get higher resolution nowadays, or by taking the film to a real photo lab.

Make sure they do it at the same time as they process them, otherwise it will be quite expensive getting them done afterwards.

if you have a decent scanner at home you can always get a negative attachment and go that route.

I went to an actual camera store and they said it would be $10 a roll. I'll check by Walgreens tomorrow. I also played with a D80 :O It felt very nice. I don't know what I'm gonna do lol.

I have been researching this subject for several days.
I believe the answer to your question is; how professional a job do you want?
Some teenager making minimum wage at Walgreens is NOt going to produce a very high quality finished product.
In fact, from what I have read it is simply NOT POSSIBLE to accurately reproduce the beautiful depth of color you are going to see in a properly exposed slide. What I am reading says the problem is with the number of colors potentially contained in a good slide (billions) vice the number the best scanners can produce (millions).
Then there is the very complicated matter of software setting, which have to be done, slide by slide, to get the best results. There are, just to name a few, Digital ICE, Digital ROC, Digital GEM, and Digital DEE. All of which may need to be set, if Walgreens' scanner is even top end, for each slide in order to get the best results.
Do you really think you are going to get that for under $1 a slide? I don't believe so.
I don't want to be a wet blanket, simply to let you know you've just walked into a minefield.
Walk carefully.

and just remember too, that with the price of driving around, sometimes it's best to just pick somewhere! But the above advice is good, Walmart, Walgreens, etc. will all do the job. Will it be done as well as a lab? I doubt it. Will it still be pretty good? Yeah.
AE-1 Program is a great camera, btw. I keep mine with me on shoots as a backup to my 20D. Sometimes I like to just pull it out to get people's responses.
