I'm not able to spend as much time in the bird forum as I use to, new work, terrible cold, all that kind of stuff, but these shots made me take a nice long look. I love pelicans. :)

A very comprssed and different framing in th first image...The second one is excellent with great light and details...Nice work!!

Great series here Steve. I love the idea of a close-up but I'm not that keen on the bill being cut off. I still wish that I had this series in my collection.

Thanks. I was about fifteen to 20 feet away and I use the Canon 100-400L IS.
