I searched but it's too hard to find if this has been
asked, but . . .

When you FE lock by pushing the * on the 10d (with the flash ready)
then re-compose, re-focus, etc. How long if the flash exposure locked?
Do you have to keep the * button pushed to keep that FE or is it good
for a certail amount of seconds?

Sorry, I'm too lazy to try it today, have a cold and feel dead,
if you know what I mean.

Thanks, Rod

ps. If anyone knows of a way to keep the FE locked for a long
time please let me know. I would like Canon to consider that
feature, Lock the FE until told to unlock !

It's about 4 to 6 seconds. You can tell when it's in that mode because there's a "*" displayed in the viewfinder on the left hand side. And no, you don't have to keep the button pressed.

Thanks Leo, I've been pushing the * and keeping it pushed
when I've used the FE... Now I don't have to.

THanks, Rod
