I have Photoshop CS and shoot in RAW.....

The day after shooting a concert I spent the whole of the next day editing and cropping!! I'm starting to find the conversion and edit rather time consuming..... is there a faster way.... with differant software???

Well, there isn't a faster way to crop, as each file will generally have a different crop from all the others. I'm not sure how you are doing your RAW conversion, but if you have a bunch of photos that require the same (or very similar) conversions, you can do the first, then apply those settings to the rest. That will save you a bunch of time right there. You can also set up some Photoshop actions to then save the RAW files as jpg or tif or whatever floats your boat.

Any of that helpful?

With my 10D, the VAST majority of my regular post processing is done in Capture One. Of course, with my new 20D, that isn't an option until Phase One update C1 to be "aware" of the new body. Until then, I'm using the supplied DPP.

if your gonna shoot raw all the time its worth getting capture one, there are other 3rd party raw convertors out there but this is the best i have seen, for large numbers of coversions from raw to tiff its quick and yields good quality
