Dont know if this should be here or in the landscape forums but i like the shot. This is from the cam with just a crop and some cloning to remove my filthy sensor spots. It was extreemly foggy early that morning and it gave it an erie look to the scene. I just relocated to Northeast florida and theres a place called Egans Creek Greenway about 2 minutes from my house. Its a long wide path that leads through a few miles of protected marsh wetlands. I will be doing many shots in the future here.( great for relaxing too). Now i just need some more firepower. Im shooting with a 55-200mm non is canon so i have to get pretty close to the subjects to get any decent shots. Would a tele converter be a good choice or just save up for a real lens?

The 30D is capable of much higher ISO than what you used here. But what's the wide open f/stop on that lens? If it is less than f/5.6, then a 1.4x TC will probably work and allow it to keep auto focus. If it goes over 5.6 with the TC on, then it will not AF. You can however, buy a Kenko TC 1.5x that does not report to the camera, and that will AF no matter what the lens is. :)

Here's a link to it (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/389038-REG/Kenko_K15AFDGC_1_5x_DG_AF_Tele_Converter.html). Cheap too. :)

Still, if your already this into it, your going to be buying more glass soon anyway. ;)
