I thought I would post this image up for comment. I worked on it for about an hour and a half last night, so go easy on me :)

I really like the effect and the subjectmatter is very creative - I prefer it with no people..think it really adds to the "mood". If you saved this as PSD, I would be curious what it looks like without the black framing around the bottom and on the right side...maybe a bit less cropping to get in a bit more of the landscape.

Nice work! I really like the effect and the subject matter.
The only thing that might need a bit more work is the black line around parts of the digger (cab and arm) and along the top of the rocks on the left. :-)

Thanks for comments :)
I'll have another mess about with it and let you know how I get on. Just sitting looking at it, it's got a bit of a '300' feel about it?

Nice tones and all over nice feel to the image. Would you care to share your technique and possibly post the original image before all your great work?

Love the PP you did on this shot. Other than color masking, could I ask was your general editing involoved? The mood you created is fantastic.

I've kinda been working on this PP recipe for a while now, with alot of trial and error, and it's proved pretty effective.... and gives my shots a kind of unique feel if you know what I mean?
Please don't hate me for not going into depth on my PP procedures
