I thought I would start a Conure Thread to gather in one area a collection of images of these adorable, intelligent, endearing wee birds. Feel free to add yours.

This image was taken with a Canon EOS500 and scanned from the print some years ago of my very first conure "Jester". She's a Maroon-Bellied Conure.

Jester's a beauty, and I agree this species is not only very friendly and affectionate but hilarious to watch play. Ours will lay on the bottom of the cage, on their backs and play with toys like a kitten or puppy would. One even lays inside its food dish and plays like this. Sometimes its startling if they aren't moving when you see them laying there.

We have Green Cheeks in different colorations as well as Crimson Bellies. I have a favorite(Bob, he bobs his head a lot) that enjoys being in a shirt pocket or wrapped in the folds of clothing, he sleeps in a sock hammock suspended from his cage top.
