Hey all,

topic should have read "smugmug pro website help needed"...

I recently upgraded to smugmug pro and have a few youth
sports gigs this spring. I'd like to customize my site so that
it looks less like a smugmug site and more like my own... Ideally,
a front page with a slideshow type portfolio of my better work
and then clickable buttons on the side for "contact", "FAQ", "Bio"
and then my galleries. I have someone working on a logo and
artwork which should be ready in a couple days

I need to keep it cheap but honestly I don't think it should be
that big a job... I have excellent refs available and am paypal
verified... if you have a smugmug site that you customized, it
might not hurt to shoot the URL...

PM or email DaveJl1984@aol.com Thanks, Dave

Dave, you should be able to do that yourself in less than an hour. take a look at my site for a second:

www.sgphoto.smugmug.com

now, everything you see there was done by a complete idiot (me) only by reading and talking to the fine folks over at dgrin:

I also am a smugmug user. www.jumpingthrewphoto.com

have been using smug mug for over a year now, everything on my site was done by me, also with the help of www.dgrin.com

if you have an idea and can explain it just tell the guys over there, they will write the code and tell you were to put it, you can do anything you want on a smug mug site, even lash and videos now,

I agree completely. I had no knowledge of HTML, CSS, or any other web related terms when I got my smugmug account. My site was done entirely by me simply by playing around a little here and there. Everything you see on my site was done using dgrin and the copy and paste code available there.

Now I have most of my pics down from this past year because parents only had until the 15th of December to buy shots so it is rather bare right now.

I just had a look at your smugmug. I could never get my smugmug to look decent when I was a smugmug mug. I'd like to point out that when I clicked on one photo and then "buy this photo" it came up with a list of sizes and messages that stated "this photo is too small to purchase this size" or something similar. That looked very poor.
