Hello all,
I have been using breeze browser to generate web priviews for clients. This works fairly well but is missing one feature (perhaps I am just blind). I want to have each photo labeled so it is easy for them to tell me which they want. I know that I can display all the EXIF info, but I don't think they should need all that info.
I typically use PSCS to import jpeg/raw files, then edit from there. Sometimes I use noise removal but not often. The rest of my workflow is unknown.... unfortunately.
Thanks,
dtrayers

In Breezebrowser, you can CTRL-E (edit comments) on an image and insert any type of comment you want. When you generate the HTML the comments will display.
I posted this series a while ago of how I bored a hole through the center of a table leg for a kitchen island I was making. I added a little description of the photo in the comments and BB added it to the HTML.

You can edit the HTML template using Breezebrowser defined tokens.
Find the "full size" HTML template you have selected in the BB template folder (usually in the BB folder in your program files). Make sure you find the template you specified in the HTML page generatioin dialog. The file you need is in your selected template named folder (e.g. "drop shadow"). You want the file called "fullsize_template.htm". Make a backup copy. Open the file in a text editor and replace:
@caption@ with
@file@
or
@fileNoExt@
Your images will be displayed with the file name, with or without the extension. This saves you the trouble of labeling all images with captions.
Check the Breezebrowser documentation on HTML tokens for further help.

Thank you very much maderito, worked like a charm. I am shamed to say that I didn't even realize that there were different templates!
Unofrunately the only thing that I use breeze browser for now is web previews... time to find something free for personal use.
Thanks again,
Vince
