Need ideas for securing a temporary studio to shoot at

I'm trying to line up some photo work, but don't have a professional studio to shoot at. Anyone have any ideas for places to shoot that wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg and would make the client feel safe, secure, and more importantly, discreet?

Check local Colleges and Universities. Some have studios that non-students can pay to use.
