Went to the military internet café today. Found the MAC-address of one of the machines, switched it off. Faked the MAC-address on my laptop to match the computers, plugged it into a spare switch-port, voila, firewall bypass, dhcp-lease, and I'm on the Internet =D As long as nobody catches me with this "semi-illegal" setup that is :P Some ****** great scenery up here =D Shot some pictures with my new 17-40. Try to get them on the web soon :)
In other military news, I'm "getting" my own TADCOM(tactical digital communication)-beltwagon, which is the most high-tech and expensive belt-wagon available in the norwegian army. A ****load of equipment for communication and electronic warfare in it. The communication-equipment alone is worth $500.000+++ with the wagon itself, and other accessory in addition of course. It'll be my personal wagon for the rest of my service =D Right now I'll have two weeks of theory and driving-practice before I will be assigned my own personal wagon for the rest of the year =D Wonder what I shall name it :)
Saw the 1Ds MK-II is out =D Looks great, but of course no chance for my military salary ;)
